A guitar marvel boy, Paul Gilbert was initially discovered in the age of 15 when he asked asked Mike Varney, founder of Shrapnel Records to join Ozzy Osbourne. A teacher of Guitar Institute of Technology, Paul is “one of the great ones” of guitar and a very influential musician with many solo albums and numerous collaborations and guest appearances with other musicians.

In this interview, Paul goes straight to the point, telling as things like what was the crucial moment that made him grab the guitar, what the most “exciting day in his guitar life”, the three things you need to know if you want to sound him and what music he would keep in cd if his ipod magically deleted all its contents!
