John Paul Pizzarelli Jr., son of the great John “Bucky” Pizzarelli came out to be the apple that fell under tree. Instead of being overshadowed by his father, great innovator of Jazz and the very first Jazz player to use a 7-string guitar, John Pizzarelli Jr. has lead an interesting career for almost 30 years now, with more 40 album releases and even more acknowledgements.

Here in this interview, John shares with us information about his collaborations with other artists, his view on great jazz players like Joe Pass, Pat Metheny, Tal Farlow, Barney Kesse, and also what he hates about touring. Enjoy!
